☆ A Day in Cologne (climbing the Cologne cathedral) ☆

Hello, everyone! (。
Yesterday I spent a beautiful day in Cologne with a friend. It was really awesome I have to say. First, we wanted to go to Phantasialand, but everything turned out kinda different as planned.

We met at 09.55am and took the next train to the Cologne train station. We took a stop there and looked at the Cologne cathedral, because my friend hasn't been in Cologne before. When we wanted to buy a train ticket to Brühl, we just noticed we hadn't enough money. So we went home to get it. Bad news: my friend's uncle somehow wouldn't let him in to get the money, so we had to do something else. Because my friend never really saw Cologne we decided to visit the city.

My friend wanted to climb the Cologne cathedral, because it's famous for being very high and beautiful. I did that times before and everytime I swore to myself that I'd never ever do it again. But well, there was no way to let him go alone.

After a few breaks we managed to reach the belltower. That was the view from it. Please notice that this has been only the half of the way up. Yeah, it's just the half and already high as ****. It was really scary, but also impressing.

The last stairs to reach the highest point of the Cologne cathedral. We didn't even go up there, because we were freaking exhausted and my friend was scared I think. I just happend to find myself up these stairs one time, and is wasn't worth it. After you manage to go up these stairs there are another stairs, but really small, and they look like they would break any moment, really scary. After those creepy stairs there's a small room and you can't even really look outside to see how high you are. Not really worth it.

After going all the way down (on the way we saw several people cry because it's kinda scary in there) we couldn't feel our legs anymore, so we just hurried to find a sitting place in shadow. We were so exhausted, we just sat down on the ground and relaxed. Some time later we went to an ice cafe and drank an cold ice chocolate, that was great!

We also went to a souvenir shop and my friend gave me this beautiful watch as a present! I really love it, because I always wanted to have a watch like this!

In short: I've been having a great day again, hihi.

Have you ever been in Cologne or may climbed the Cologne cathedral?

  3. Hallo liebe Amaya :>

    Yume <3

  4. WOW WOW WOW! That's so cool. I don't think I have ever visited anything like that. I would have to hunt for in the united states. Reading about the milk chocolate now makes me want some. :D
